A new take on the story of vermouth.

Epopira Vermouth is the result of Lasorte Cuadra’s close collaboration with Distilleria Quaglia using 10 hL of the 2022 vintage of our award-winning Valle d’Itria field blend Silos as the sole base wine. Exclusively for Lasorte Cuadra trade customers on an allocation basis.
Can it really surprise that a winery in tune with its terroir (and the history of it) decided to also make two different vermouths (one dry, one sweet)? That’s the sort of attention to detail and studious approach that Stephanie Cuadra and her husband have brought to their pet project in Puglia, where they are making not just great white wine, but two Vermouths that will knock your socks off.

Roberto Lasorte & Stephanie Cuadra
Inspired by a mutual desire to safeguard the generational wine heritage of the Valle d’Itria in Puglia, Roberto Lasorte, CEO of Querciabella in Chianti Classico, and his wife Stephanie Cuadra, founder of Terrestoria Wine Imports, embarked on their most ambitious life project yet in 2020.
With a natural disposition for winery management, fine wine distribution and the complexities of agribusiness, many of Roberto’s fondest memories revolve around a lifetime of treasured moments at the Lasorte family farm in Martina Franca. It is here, on the limestone plateau of the Valle d'Itria, that Roberto and Stephanie are living out their vocation for cultural preservation and land stewardship.
